Trotzdem versucht die europäische Gesellschaft immer noch, Menschenleben über wirtschaftliche Interessen zu stellen, auch wenn dies auf zunehmende Ablehnung in der Bevölkerung trifft. In Italien und Spanien kam es sogar schon zu gewalttätigen Protesten gegen die neuen Einschränkungen. In den USA hat man gar nicht versucht, die Wirtschaft hinter die Gesundheit der Bevölkerung zu reihen. Dort hat mit Trump schon lange das Geld die Regierung übernommen, während die Europäer immer noch verzweifelt versuchen, an ihren humanistischen Ethikidealen festzuhalten.
Das regnerische Novemberwetter passt zur Stimmung der Leute. Dazu passt natürlich auch November Rain (von Guns N' Roses), das schon 1991 eine Zeitenwende begleitete:
